Cody Helms, Austin Howe, and Andre Howe made the trip to the Rausch
Hereford Farm in  Hoven, South Dakota to find their "2008 Pick of The
Herd".

Talk about a great set of cows" said Cody Helms, farm manager
of Deana Jak Farms. "The quality and depth of the herd is incredible". "
It's something you have to see "commented Austin Howe to which Andre
Howe added, "Talk about nice people who know how to feed not only
cattle but us", "We never were more than five hours from a family style
sit down meal the whole time we were there" thanks to the cooks and the
wonderful hospitality of the men on the herd tours.

We selected a
wonderful two year old after seeing several generations. Her coming out
will be featured later.
